This song was written by the late beloved singer songwriter Patricia Pettinga. I was honored to get her blessing to record it before her passing and to work with her husband Bill Willging who played guitar. This song speaks to me over and over again.

lyrics

Starting over, like a child again, taking steps in a new direction. Can’t put old wine in a new wine skin. We’re drinkin’ new wine new like a child again.
Like a rose bud, or a brand new butterfly, opening up beneath a morning sky. Wings unfolding, petals blossoming. Possibilities awakening.
If we seem to stumble, we’re just learning how to dance, in this waltz of life along the way. Neither proud nor humble, just grateful for the chance, To do the best we can another day.
Starting over, and over again, looking back with love on where we’ve been. Moving forward, guided by the light within. We're starting over, and over, and over, and over, and over again
Rock-a-by baby, you’re a grown up now (group repeats)
You can keep growing up anyhow (group repeats)
Never too late and never too soon (group repeats)
To be who you are and do what you’re doing (group repeats)
No regrets and no despair (group repeats)
You wouldn’t be here if you hadn’t been there (group repeats)
Just be aware, no need to fear (group repeats)
You’re gonna get there, but you’ve got to start here. You're gonna get there
Starting over, like a child again, taking steps in a new direction. Can’t put old wine in a new wine skin. We’re drinkin’ new wine new like a child again, drinkin new wine new drinkin new wine new like a child again.
